Picked up my IPad mini 32gb with Verizon at Best Buy, at the bargain price of $29, with a $250 gift card using miles from my most wonderful Capitol One Venture card.

What a deal.

They got everything up and running for me there, and the mini into one of those OtterBox protectors. These are not so much stylish as they are functional, protecting the screen and case, also from damage due to falls.

Very, very fast, very easy to use, very small and very lightweight. Will drop easily into a backpack or purse.......and, no jet pack to carry and charge.

I love it, and highly recommend it. $279 right now at Best Buy, with a 2 year Verizon contract.

Not sure where to post this, so trying this thread! We have worked with an engineer friend who brought this idea to reality. We needed a way to keep our toys (golf clubs, fishing gear, grill, etc) organized in our 2014.5 EXT. Have added a rack with hooks to hang hoses and cords and secure other things in an upright position so we can easily get the bed down without having to rearrange everything we are carrying every night...Click image for larger version

This is exactly the place.

What great ideas, and something anyone could duplicate.

Thanks for sharing.

I found these little guys....3.4 oz each, flat, flip top, refillable travel bottles. Couldn't get a picture to save, tho.

On the same principle as the flat, collapsible, water bottles, but tiny.

Great for small bits in your toiletry kit, also could be used for condiments. I love anything takes up less space as it empties.

$4.99 for a set of 3, as an add-on at Amazon.com.

Logitech UE Boom Bluetooth portable rechargeable speaker. It is very possible that Bose speakers in the same class have better quality, but they lack versatility, being designed to sit on counter tops, desks, and tables whereas this Tootsie Roll looking thing can be suspended a variety of ways, here from our back-up and side camera monitor which is firmly bolted to the cab frame (so it can take the extra weight).

We decided to abandon all plans to improve the cab sound system because the T1N Sprinter in its original configuration is just too loud, too much road noise. We need to improve the soundproofing before any fixed equipment investment would be worthwhile. Therefore the only logical decision is a small ultra-portable sound system that is not dependent on the Interstate. I can also use this in my kitchen or anywhere else when not traveling.

And you can hang it from your awning for outdoors listening while camping!

8 ounce BPA-free polycarbonate Nalgene jar for butter. There are a bunch of products grouped together but this link might lead to it:

Amazon.com: Nalgene Nalgene Jar: Sports & Outdoors

Perhaps I am unusually inept, but I have had several butter-related minor catastrophes in the Interstate. The sold-in plastic containers are too flimsy - one fell to the floor and exploded on me. I don't like rock-hard butter so I tend to leave butter in the overhead bin rather than the fridge whenever prevailing temperatures permit. Well, if the container gets knocked over during travel, then it has a tendency to seep. Or even if it does not get knocked over - even if it just jiggles, it still has a tendency to seep. So I started putting butter containers in zip lock bags to contain the seep. Then the insides of the bags got coated with messy grease which then transferred to my hands and everywhere else. Good grief!

This Nalgene is polycarbonate so it is impact-resistant. The lid is screwed on rather than just being a friction lid, so it seems to seal better. So far, no breaching issues with this one, even when the butter is very soft.

I have a small, square, Rubbermaid container that I use for butter on the road.

It seals tightly, and rides well in the dishpan when driving.

Just fixing my breakfast, I thought to myself...."I need to post this on Small Space Living"!

I am not a big milk drinker, period, but do like it on oatmeal, mueslix.....and, a favorite summer breakfast....cold, cooked quinoa, topped with fresh blueberries. .

I discovered this little item last year.....shelf stable and sold in 4 packs @ 8 oz each.

Just lightly sweetened, it negates the need for any sugar, and is pretty darned good.

Takes up so little space in storage, and in the frig.

Maggie, I agree. That Silk Almond Milk is good.

And, speaking of butter storage, we have this neat little gadget:

Buttermate

Makes slicing off little pads of cold, hard butter a snap! Handy measure, too.

Very cute!

I use a butter bell at home, but carrying that in the Interstate just doesn't work.
