I don’t see any Velcro - my loops are sewn closed like the ones in the above picture.

Is there a trick to this?

No trick - you just have to open open of the crimped ends to be able to remove curtain. I just looked at the track on my 2013 AI - looks like it would be easiest to open crimp on end by bathe door. I'd use a large flat blade screw driver or a small flat pry bar. You could use an adjustable wrench on the screw driver blade or pry bar for leverage to open the crimped end.

Thank you! I was going to do that but am not a pro at bending metal and not destroying it. Your suggestion to use the wrench to twist the screwdriver is just the advice I needed.

I use a straight blade screwdriver to open the crimped end. I am sure that if I did this hundreds ('thousands?) of times it would fatigue the aluminum rail. But you can do it a few dozen times without problem. I also found that you don't even have to re-crimp the rail if you open it at the side near the door hinge - the curtain is seldom at that end of the track and I've not had the clip slide out when it is near that end. Having the curtain velcro'ed at the toilet end keeps it from going to far the other way.

Thank you, Titus! Opening the end, but not having to correctly (and, attractively) close it back again is exactly what I'm going to do.

One could also squirt a dab of RTV into the end of the track. Easier to remove later.

Great idea! I was thinking you could inset a small screw at end - but a dab of RTV is a better idea.

First try to see if you need to do anything to hold it in. I think you'll find that velcro-ing it to the toilet (back) wall will keep it from moving towards the sink (front) wall and coming out of the track.
