In my post above, saying that a 50 amp outlet only had 25 amps on each side was WRONG. I must have been asleep still.

Sorry. The 50 amp outlet should have two 50 amp legs on it. If you use a 50 to 30 amp adaptor, your coach 30 amp circuit breaker will limit your use to 30 amps.

Moral: don't post first thing in the morning when you are not thinking clearly!

Shore Power Questions

It is a mind thing, each leg of a 50 amp 240 volt service is 50 amps each if used separately with a neutral, but still, if used together in 240 volt service, the two 50 amp legs add up to 50 Amps....

The fact that I am opinionated does not presuppose that I am wrong......

My A/C draws about 12 amps to 18 amps depending on the ambient temp. One summer at 105*, I had to shut down the inverter to keep the A/C running.

Glass half full or half empty to an engineer is simply a glass that was over designed.
