Shore line charging

When I plugged in shore line the house battery is not charging?
My master switch is on but all circuit breakers were in off position, could that cause the battery not charging ?
House battery can be charged by alternator and/or generator
Your help

On my older model, there is a battery disconnect.
'Store' and 'use' I think.

In Store, it will not be charged by shore power.
Does yours have such a switch?

(Be aware that at least on my older model, the battery charger is a simple 'one stage' charger and should not be left on for extended periods of time. Once charged, the battery is put into 'store'. Yours may be totally different)

I guess is that I need put it on "on" or "use" in order to get charged, and more, airstream tech told me that my circuit breakers must be stay on as well, for a long term storage, I'm better off disconnecting the negative side

One reason to disconnect is that by law, some things cannot be turned off. The propane leak detector, and carbon monoxide detector for example.
So while stored, the batteries get discharged.

I see you have a 2014 Interstate. On late models if you have all the 120VAC circuit breakers off then the Magnum charger will not charge the batteries

We put a toggle switch on the propane detector lead (check list item), and the CO detector has its own battery. Our Battery Disconnect Switch shuts down battery power to our Airstream. However our factory solar system still keeps the batteries charged if they ever need it over a long period.

We were instructed to set to "store" and disconnect when the rig is not in use.

I don't know that there is any benefit to staying plugged in while your unit is in storage.

There have been many discussions on this subject you can find using the search function. I notice you have a 2014, so you should have the Magnum inverter. I have the same, and I always store it plugged in to keep the house batteries from going dead from all the battery draining items in the AI electrical system. My unit will charge the batteries with the door side disconnect switch on or off. My prior AI had the old inverter/charger which could not be left plugged in for storage which made it a challenge to keep the batteries charged.

I soon will have a concrete pad finished at our residence and will store our AI there when completed.
Question, I do not currently have 30 amp service available to plug into. Is it alright to just use the 20 amp service I have to keep the batteries charged while parking it or do I need to have 30 amp installed?

For battery charging, a common 15 amp household outlet should be more than sufficient.

Illegal.
I sympathize. I may do the same, but it's not legal.

Put a DPST switch on the propane solenoid and the detector.

I moved the wire powering the propane detector to the other side of the STORE/USE switch. The switch will be in USE mode whenever the trailer is occupied. Should eliminate the risk of forgetting to turn on the power to the detector.
