Screen for Mosquitos?

We just had an excellent couple days in the Keys, but the bugs were a nuisance. We were going to buy some citronella candles, but does anyone know of a screen we can buy that might attach to the awning our Airstream Interstate and create a screened-in patio for our outdoor mat/chairs/table area? If not, is there anything better than spraying Off and lighting citronella candles? Thanks in advance!

You have the automatic awning I believe. if so, from what I have heard you cannot attach anything to it. Don't forget, it auto retracts and the screens hanging from the 3 sides would be a big problem.

We have and use one of these:
REI Screen House - Free Shipping at REI.com

It's not as sexy as screening in the existing awning, but when the mosquitos are biting, this tent is the most popular destination in the CG!

You might try hanging a Thermacell from the outside door handle. I've done it, and it seemed to work reasonably well. I didn't end up with any skeeters inside my Interstate.

This one…
ThermaCELL Insect Repellant Olive Appliance: Outdoor Sports : Walmart.com
and the holster to go with it, that makes it easier to clip to things…
Thermacell Portable Mosquito Repellent Holster - Walmart.com
Since I have a windshield cover that wraps around and covers the driver's and passenger's front windows, it was easy for me to clip it to the edge of the cover right next to the sliding door. But if you like, you could clip it to the back of a lawn chair that's set near the door, and that should work as well, as long as the door is within range of the Thermacell.
