Rubber Door Seal Protectant

What is a good product or method of treatment for the rubber door seals?

If the rubber is getting hard, so that it compresses when the door is closed and stays compressed when the door is opened, there are several treatments available. My favorite is old-fashioned glycerine, same stuff you can buy in the medicine aisle of your local supermarket. Coat the rubber thoroughly and let it soak in. I haven't used it on door seals, but I have used it on the tip-out window seals.

What about a silicone grease? My neighbor uses it for his cars.

My Airstream owner's manual says to use silicone grease on window and door seals, but I use 303 Aerospace Protectant. It's easier to apply and less mess. And, I do not want to get silicone anywhere I might need caulk later.

The German car geeks all swear by a product made by Wurth called Gummi Pfledge (not sure on the spelling). I think this is the same stuff but renamed for the US market:
Wurth Rubber Care Silicone Free

When I googled it I found this made by another European manufacturer, looks like the same stuff but in a applicator bottle:
Einszett Rubber Care Stick Gummi Pflege, gummi pflege (also available on Amazon)

Gummi Pflege is the way to go. I've used it in many applications and the "stick" is easy to use with no mess. Available on Amazon.

We use silicon spray (sprayed on a rag then wiped on the gasket.) But our gaskets are still in pretty good condition (i.e., soft & supple, not hard and cracked.)

303 better, I had a bottle of armorall in the garage for a number of years, bought some 303 and forgot about the armorall, when I picked up the bottle it was discolored and cracked, this is a product saying it is supposed to save your plastic goods
