Sometime this summer, I hope to get my rig back, get the Konis installed, and have the chance to take our baby out on the road again.
It has taken until the end of August for the MB body shop, the Airstream dealer, etc
. to finish their work so I could finally get the Konis installed. They are definitely worth the cost! With the Konis the ride is noticeably firmer, more like the ride of my wife's VW GTI with sport suspension. There is a definite thump going over minor road bumps, but noticeably more stable, less side to side sway, and overall much better road handling. The proof of the pudding will come the first time I encounter a 35 mph crosswind, but at this point I am most definitely a happy camper.
