Refrigerator not working on gas 2006 Interstate
On the maiden voyage (home from purchase) of 2006 Interstate (mid-bath)
The refrigerator works great on AC- but not on Gas.
I tried manualy lighting, it would light and burn, but go out.
Any ideas on what to check?
I could hear the gas solinoid active timing and i think the spark lighter.
But it won't light without me using a lighter.
Other than that everything is great! (Well, a bit wet on Northern California Coast)

The burner on ours has had to be cleaned a few times, might check that.
Be sure the frig is on, and set to auto.
Check your fuses.

I'm guessing you have otherwise used your propane, your burners and hot water heater?

Yes,
Stovetop, furnace, hot water heater all works fine.
Plus I can see the fridge light when I use a lighter.

Dont most gas appliances have a thermo cutoff to cut off the gas supply in case the flame goes out? Maybe that's faulty?

Same thing happened to us last trip . Get some pipe cleaners at smoke shop and a can of air used for computers etc. shut everything off . Run pipe cleaner through burners parts after you remove the access door . Shoot canned air in there . More then likely a spider made a web in there . Hope this helps . Pat

The inside of the flue may have had some rust buildup flake off and plug the jet. If you can clean up the orifice, it might hold a flame for you.
