Quick Question - 2016 AI Lounge

Hello,

I did a search, but couldn't find a clear answer to this. Does anyone know if the front door/dash speakers in a 2016 AI are the factory units from MB Vans? or Did Airstream upgrade and install something marginally better? I'm assuming the former, and they simply added the rear Kenwood speakers along with the head unit.

Can't answer for the 2016 model, but my 2013 uses the stock Mercedes speaker up front in cab area and Kenwood speakers in the rear area. Probably the same today.

On this topic, thoughts on dynamat for the doors while they are apart for speaker performance and noise from an otherwise fairly light and hollow door? BTW, anyone know if the sub in the 2016s is powered or any way to increase output? Are the aftermarket keywords in the back any good? Anyone mount any external speakers somehow or just use cheap BT speakers for outdoor?
