At Downtown Riverside RV Park in North Little Rock, AR. At one end of the park is a footbridge that deposits you at the Bill Clinton Library and puts you within walking distance of downtown restaurants. A paved 7 mile path along the river makes a great place to walk the dog. It is city owned and was $28 per night.

This isn't a great photo, but I didn't actually take one of our van. This is out the side window at breakfast, showing a rafter of turkeys prancing past our site Palo Duro on May 10 (in Hackberry)

The river in the photos above is the Arkansa River. A few days ago we saw this same river at the Royal Gorge near Canon City, CO.

I think I covet thy cubby hole. It has the appearance of a residential garage - is it? Just curious.

My husband and I built our house five years before we realized we wanted an Interstate. We built a 4-car garage but not tall enough for the Interstate. Now we're stuck with the longer-term question of what to do about it, because eventually we'd like to keep our Interstate on site instead of in a storage facility.

Nice! That would be my dream garage - but now I have to settle on a small two car garage in my townhouse. 😩

The Downtown Riverside RV Park sounds like a great find! I know that this is a bit off-topic but there's a free site called "Motorhome Parking for Urban Tourists" that uses crowd-sourced information. It lists places to park a motorhome near a city or near an urban attraction. It'd be great if you could post the info about Downtown Riverside RV Park on that site. For more info, go to:

The whole Vanscapes site looks like it's worth exploring - thanks for posting this.

If anyone else knows of any other good Sprinter Class B sites that I have NOT yet blogrolled, please let me know.

I will go to their site and do that.

There is an abandoned railroad bridge that has been converted to a pedestrian walk. To allow river traffic, the complete center part of the bridge would raise. They set the bridge in the raised position and then made a walk that begins at the track level and rises to the center raised section and then back down on the other side. At dusk they light this bridge and another pedestrian bridge about a half mile up river from this one. The bridge constantly changes colors. At the right side of the bridge is the Clinton Library.

I have attached a photo below and a better one of the park that was taken by my wife.

Good idea, SiennaGuy, and I just added this Little Rock site to the map -- thanks, jerhofer! The map now has 52 parking locations, all with pictures:

The Forum's pilots in particular might appreciate this shot. I put a square cropped version on Insta, but it's a scene that lends itself better to a wider format like this. Here's my caption and yes I was going for broke on the hashtags.

Hey, who set that KC-135 nose gear on the windshield of my #airstreaminterstate? Some visitors to #houston and #spacecenterhouston photo op their rigs in front of the #nasa905 #spaceshuttle carrier aircraft, but I think that this is an equally enchanting shot. This retired “vomit comet” low-gravity trainer was reportedly the same one used to shoot scenes for the #apollo13 movie and is on display at #ellingtonairfield a short distance north of #nasajohnsonspacecenter. Like fellow Houstonian #howardhughes shooting Hell’s Angels, I had to wait months for just the right puffy clouds to appear for this photo. #vanlife #sprintervanlife

Palo Duro Canyon State Park, TX. The VB Air Suspension came in handy trying to level.

Pretty spot you have there.

The bridge and Japanese gardens in Lethbridge were very interesting.
