Picked up new trailer and using sisters car to run between hotel and her house. I sent her the picture but she cannot appreciate the beauty.

ID:	268161pic of our Interstate from inside out, Parrsboro Nova Scotia. Travel stats to get here - 3.5 days, 2,492 miles, 1 state park, 2 boondocks, 3 time zones, 15 states and 2 provinces crossed, 2 tired humans, 1 overjoyed dog.

WOW, that's some serious travel in your T1N, I'm jealous. I know you two are pretty attentive, what's was your mpg on your trek north? And most importantly drive safe and have fun!

We wrote down every detail of mileage, but I haven't run the numbers yet!!

I would like to say at this point that some of our Forum gripes have less to do with the Interstate and more to do with the interstates. My God, with that kind of road trip it becomes brilliantly obvious that all the "crumbling infrastructure" political talk is not just talk. I'd estimate that 80% of the interstates we took were in serious disrepair. I don't expect perfection, but I would like for the glass lenses in our coach lights not to shatter from the force of hitting unavoidable craters (one did on the way up here). These highways are a national disgrace. My husband is happy, though, because I gave him carte blanche on getting air suspension.

New trailer

I picked up my new trailer in Oklahoma while on our USA trip in June. I use this to haul my Harley along with a Zuma scooter.

Nice trailer. I like the tandem axel. Good looking rig. Where in Okie-Homa did you pick it up? I am in Tulsa.

This was built by Sundowner Trailers in Coleman, OK. They specialize in horse trailers but build very nice cargo trailers also. I had mine custom built 9" narrower than standard so it was more in line with the Airstream. It is 100% welded aluminum construction (except axles), floor beams on 12" centers, diamond plate on ramp, suncoat (kind of like Rhino Lining) on interior 3/4" plywood floor, 6,000lb stainless steel Swivel "D" Ring tie downs thru bolted to welded in aluminum backing plates, 4 wheel brakes, all LED lighting, aluminum wheels and radial tires. I'm very pleased with the quality and attention to details.

Makes one wonder where that $10 trillion that we overspent the last eight years went.

C21Bill--
Please---Approximately how much moola to have a trailer like yours built? It looks like a beautiful thing, especially narrowing it for non-interstate roads and Mexican roads. Thanks in advance for information. AEW

Here's the breakdown on mine: List base price: $8,222, Ramp instead of rear door: $892, Spare Tire & Mount: $254, Suncoat on floor: $252, SS Swivel Tie-downs, 5 @ $82 ea, Roof Vent: $130, Custom Narrow Width: $500. I also had some extra backing plate installed for motorcycle chocks at a cost of $300. The total came to $10,960. My dealer discounted it down to $8,919. then we added $225 for ATP stoneguard on front. Shipping to CA would have added around $900 but I picked it up at the factory while on a trip. Also when I got home I had my dealer add a couple more tie-downs and some sidewall vents. There are obviously much less expensive trailers out there but this one is top quality in every respect. Your price is going to depend on what a dealer is willing to do for you. The standard size on mine is 12' x 6'9" but I had mine built 12' x 6'0".

They come standard with a 32" side door and they come equipped with very nice keyed cam-bar latches on side door and ramp so you don't need padlocks.(latches are keyed alike).
