WACHUKO - Look like came from factory that way. Nice job! But I am afraid to show this pic to my grandson. He wants a bunk bed in AI so bad (like he has at home), he will think you built this for him

On other news... Tag finally came in.
Also, the comment from InterBlog on the heat generated by the LED array I used for the overhead lights, stayed on the back of my mind... so I ordered replacements for the bulbs...
Used these:

Daughter is studying character animation and is overall an artist in several areas (oils, pastel, digital, all media really, she writes poetry, lyrics, music, sings, plays guitar)...so I figured I would get a tag that support the arts. Love that she is able to follow her passion.

WACHUKO - That great! In NV, you would go crazy, they have dozens of personalized plates to choose for every organization or charity and they add more each year

I replaced the map/dome light LED's with those you used first, and can't tell (using my calibrated hand) that they are too hot. While your latest ones might be even cooler, seems like any LED would have to be cooler than the incandescent bulbs that were replaced. Is this not the case?
'Your' first LED's did not throw a CAN error message, and they time out like the original ones did. They even appear to dim as they turn off.
So I'm at a loss to understand what is wrong with your first choice.

So I left something out... I ordered those bulbs for replacing the bulbs in my BMW X5... that required 16 of these bulbs and left me with 4 spare ones.
To your question, there is no impact from the first choice. Mine were working fine and were actually brighter than these last one that I replaced them with. The only reason I swapped them is because I had some left over from the switch made in the BMW... and because of that comment InterBlog made... but there was really no need to change them again... they were working fine. And they are still working fine in the glove compartment and in our Subaru.

Updating list. Almost done!! Then it just goes into maintenance mode...
Pending mods:
- Install cut-off switch for solar panels. Thank you Mike!
- Make the covers for the side windows with Reflectix
- Redo the cover of the foldable bed. I need to round the corners that I forgot to do and are damaging the vinyl. Will recover each piece of wood panel separately in a different material (cloth and beige color). Got everything that I need for this task. Lazy since kids have stayed at home during the last two times we went out...I see a trend here...
- Fridge ventilation modification.
- Buy and install a drain valve for the fresh water tank
- Install the ShowerMi$er. Parts moved from the garage to inside the house… that is progress Just need to see when I tackle this one…
- RakAttach swing-away hitch - size large.
- Prime Design - Rear Door Access Ladder
Wishlist:
I did upgrade a few of the things we have...

And just a side note... that rearview mirror screen that we have... I was looking for a solution for my other car as I am installing a hitch-mounted tire carrier and wanted something to still have a functional camera... well, for 49.00 (later found them even for less) you can buy the whole system on eBay. So now I have that installed in my X5
Just in case you like them or need to replace anything in them... could not believe how inexpensive these are...

Their website called out a location here in Austin. I haven't checked it out yet since it is on the other side of town.

Use Dealer locator from their website... here is one not too far... if you are in Boca Grande, FL
Industrial Ladder & Supply- Florida
4707 Enterprise Avenue, Suite 5
Naples, FL 34104-7064
Phone: 239-331-7593
I am ordering from a local place:
Knapheide Truck Equipment - Orlando, FL
510 Thorpe Rd
Orlando, FL 32824
Phone: 919-334-9360
The do not list them on their website.. I called and they order them. If you wait for when they order multiple stuff from them, they wave the shipping charges... at least that is what the local place told me they would do for me if I was not in a hurry.

Thanks for posting pics of your rear view monitor plug. That will work as a direct replacement for mine. No re-wiring required.
I'm just looking for a backup or perhaps a replacement if the new one improves on brightness & clarity. I've placed my order!
