This combo HAS to be easier to keep cool in. Just my opinion. Was able to order new to get what I wanted. I did not want anything to do with dark colors for many of reasons mentioned on other posts.
I live in North Texas and agree with you wholeheartedly. Anything that can reduced the heat load, even if it is more apparent than real, is welcome.

I'm also from south Louisiana. For the past ten years, every vehicle I've owned has been white, for that very reason. Despite the fact that it's a hard color to keep clean.

For ease in cleaning, I'll take white or silver over black any day. Having owned a multitude of black vehicles, keeping them clean is a career.
Glass half full or half empty to an engineer is simply a glass that was over designed.

You think white is hard to keep clean? Maybe up close, it seems to show dirt, but from a cars length away I've always found white looks better when dirty then other colors. Black shows the smallest smudge from. A mile away.

(Or at least thats always been my opinion)
