Is this the product we are talking about?

Or this one perhaps?

Titus, could you please ID the product you have used which seems to leave plastic material caught in the macerator's inlet? Also, what kind of time lag are we talking about, and have you done some driving around with additional water/waste added to the tank for road action to help break down the waste?

How does the system work with a macerator? Is there a small tank after the toilet, where things can digest before they are macerated and sent to the holding tank? This is where the plastic bag needs to dissolve. Maybe there is not enough liquid here?

Maybe the dissolving bags are intended only for the old black water tanks, and not for systems with a macerator?

Do the macerator's instructions in the OEM manuals say anything about this?

PS -- Other threads FYI:

I was looking for other macerator threads, and came across this priceless post from idroba, may he rest in Peace. Forgive the off-topicality.

What a droll and tasteful sense of humor he had . . .

(their stuff, they deal with it). When he finally got the pump unhooked and apart one of the plastic cigarillo tips was firmly wedged in the inlet. I left and let them scream at each other about that little deal.

I don't worry about paper, it is the other stuff that really causes issues.
