New Airstream store - no love for Interstate owners!

Anyone else feeling like a forgotten stepchild? Being a new Interstate owner (5 days) I'm a tad disappointed. Is this how Airstream feels about "us"? Did I miss something? Thoughts?

Don't need to advertise the brand to enjoy your new van. Instead pick up shirts and hats (or ?) at some destinations that you have traveled.

I will admit to having some brand specific clothing for a sports car that I own, but don't care about that anymore.

Welcome to Airstream Interstate ownership. Enjoy!

Agree. I love a good mystery. They are always better when a chapter is left out.

Here's my interpretation: the online Airstream store doesn't sell anything for the Interstate owner. It's all for the trailer owners.

There are plenty of generic items in the Airstream store for Interstate owners. The best item I found is the Airstream door mat. I first saw it at an RV show in front of an Interstate. It's even made in the USA. There are also plenty of clothing items. It's also a good source for Sikaflex if you need it for roof modifications. You have to remember that Airstream trailers far out number Interstates.

I will soon see if the Interstate folks are really the "red-headed step child"of the bunch. I am meeting with my local chapter of WBCCI next month. I think I am the only Interstate owner in the chapter. Doubt it will be "strange". These folks are good people. This post is made with "tongue-in-cheek". But I'll keep ya'll informed.

Interstates are wonderful! I see many items at the Airstream store which would be great for any Airstream owner or Airstream fan, trailer or no trailer. Welcome to the family!

Ya, I think you're on to something.....they even make them across the street from the factory...kinda like keeping an ugly puppy in the closetI don't want to say child, since it's not politically correct, but I wanted to

Part of the problem is that Interstates are not iconic like the trailers. People see an Airstream trailer, or a picture of one, and they instantly think, "Airstream!" People see an Interstate or a picture of one, and they instantly think, "Sprinter!"

As evidenced by the "Interstates Spotted" thread, where someone recently "spotted" an Interstate that was just a Sprinter van, and not any kind of RV at all, let alone an Interstate.

Until and unless Interstates become an icon, don't expect to see a whole lot of Interstate merchandise. Unless of course you're something of an artist, and decide to make your own. In which case you may find yourself receiving commissions to make some for the rest of us!

Things seem to be kind of pricey and not a whole lot of useful stuff.

Very seldom do you find anything with a class B on it.

I found a great, handmade mug a couple of years back with a VW bus on it, all decked out with peace and love......bought it and love it.

Maybe Airstream will come out with some things with an Interstate silhouette...it would be the right thing to do, and they would find a ready market.

New Airstream store - no love for Interstate owners!

I sorta feel the same about Airsrteam motorhomes in general. Not much kinship with the trailer folks. I adopted a different cult.

How does one tell an Interstate from any of the many more numerous sprinter class b mh on the road?
