Also are the solar panels the flexible type or the more tradtional glass rigid type?

I’m heading to the Hershey RV show next week and I’ll check out the new Interstate 19. My dealer, Colonial, said they would have one on display there. I’ll also be looking at the Roadtrek and Pleasure-Way competition.

Hey Mike, please send me some pics of the table set up in the front if you can. No info or images of this yet. I’ll be out so won’t even be able to pick mine up if it comes in. Maybe it’ll be on display there since it’s not here! ~John

First, I'm jealous and if we could speed up our plans for a north eastern trip by a few weeks, we'd love to be at the Hershey RV Show too.

Please check out the bed on the passenger side near the galley. Pics have shown a possible small to moderately large square-shaped intrusion. Maybe a weird photo distortion or shadow, but several photos show something. Would appreciate a post when you get back.

Safe travels.

Brad Simcoe from Arbogastsrvs sent me this picture of the table set up in the back. He also let me know there is no room behind the couch area for a set of golf clubs.

Mmmmm. A picture of the back area would have nice for him to send too. Gotta be some storage under the rear seat (maybe just not quite enough length or width for golf clubs).

In the pictures in the expanded brochure that came out the other day, that hook for that style of table is not visible on the back bench seat and there are no holes in the floor for the table either. I am more curious as to whether or not the table set up in front has realistic space for only eating from the front seats for two people?

Thanks ML. I plan to put the Lithium under the bench but we will have to wait and see.

Until the actual models are released, there are conflicting pics out there. Maybe some taken at different times in their prototype process.

Arbogast has a Nineteen on their lot as does Colonial. The picture I posted of the table is from Brad actually going out to their Nineteen and taking the picture.

As far as the back storage, Brad told me the tip of the bench/couch has space to only allow the shade and mosquito screen to lower. Very little space below. But isn’t that expected? This is the a much shorter van than the AI and Airstream has found a way to put a lot in this RV. The back storage is certainly not a dealbreaker for me.

Drpeggau - your battery is much smaller than golf clubs. I looked up the battery a couple of days ago. I wouldn’t worry.

Patrick from Colonial posted on the Airstream Interstate Facebook page pictures of the Nineteen at Hershey. This particular picture shows the passenger side ottoman area discussed in this thread.

Thanks for posting. This is the clearest picture yet.

But wish we knew what that cushion at the end is doing there.

EDIT: OK. I looked at the picture again. Don't know why it's positioned where it is, but the small cushion is probably just a fill piece for the bed since they shortened the side cushion. Does not affect the usability of the bed, which is great!

That looks like a good place to store the fill cushion. It is in no one's way there. It looks like it is a tight enough fit to stay there while in motion.

New 19’ Interstate price and layout

I took these photos of the passenger side of Interstate 19 at Hershey today. I’d say that small bump-out is a none issue for most. After seeing the 19 in person my main impression was that the bathroom was TOO large. In such a small van they could have made it smaller. Otherwise I liked it - so did my DW.
