Need new windows

I have a 2007 interstate (built on a 2006 chassis). Hail storm broke many windows and They are no longer made. Talking with airstream it seems Creation windows is no longer in business and that starts my problem. I have a mid bath and need all the the glass on the drivers side, both rear doors and pass side middle window. Three are just glass glued in place and they are a compound curved. The left side rear is double lower vent style. Can any one help me out. Jim

I believe that model is built on a Mercedes body and frame - try starting there and see if a Mercedes dealer can help you with that. Doubt that Airstream would deviate from their windows. Good Luck

Replacements are available that are made by another company.

I have check as many vendor as I can find. The ones I cannot find are the glass pieces no frame and are gluded to the surface. Since the body metal has a compound curve you cannot use flat glass. Any help please

Your windows were made by Creation.

They are still in business, but for whatever reason, they will not make any more of them for Airstream.

I updated this information as of October 3rd, 2011.

The best you can probably do, is find a good shop and have them install Lexan, that has the protective coating on both sides. That coating is called AR-2.

I noticed that the windows used in the 2011 Interstate is by a different vendor than on my 2010 Interstate but didn't take note of the name. I did notice that the windows with the lower vent are nicer in that the knob is located where it is more accessible. Suggest you visit your nearest Airstream dealer and look at a new model.

Creation Windows

What I can find is here: Creation windows

I see Creation was closed in 2008 but Parkin Accessories has/had what was left of the Creation stock including windows and parts.

Phone: 800/367-8938
Email: sales@parkin-acc.com

Good luck,
Wayne

Jim,
What was your final solution for the windows? And what was the total cost?

Three of the windows came from CR lawence. the fixed glass that glued to the body surface came right from dodge. cost was around $600 and $104 (dodge).

2007 Interstate screen hide/hold sliding door.

Hate dredging up old posts but this thread is completely germane to an issue I am having. I am looking for the vanity bar that hides/holds the top of the screens on the sliding door. Mine warped with heat and will no longer stay on. Anyone else had this problem and find a solution. Anyone know of a wrecked 2007 Interstate that might have a still working piece. Thanks!

I would suggest that you call Airstream, at 937-5966111 and ask them for the part number, IF still available.

Parts, unfortunately, for some of the foreign things Airstream has, leaves much to be desired.

Sorry.
