Need help with pedestal…..help!

Hi All,
I purchased a 2013 in Feb…..had been on the dealer's as a demo, only had 189 miles on it, got a good deal….I think.
I didn't have time to do a walk through….I KNOW!!!!
Bottom line, I will be coming here with loads of questions….glad I found you good people.
at any rate…..
First problem….I put the table up today in the rear for the first time….wanted to see what it looked like. Got the top off and on without a problem but I can't get the pedestal out of the hole. I've tried twisting counter and clock….tried lifting it up…..it's not budging.
I looked in my booklet….all I could find is….."The pedestal is inserted into the floor cups and twisted to lock into place."
Well???? How does one unlock it?

There's a black button you step on with your foot (it's on the base of the pedestal) while you twist the pedestal.

Yes - and sometimes you have to press that black button hard, so use a hard shoe.
So don't screw on that pedestal too tightly!

Thank you David and Dude! You know, I thought it was that darn black button but for the life of me, nothing budged….but, I was trying to press on it with bare feet. After reading your replies, I put on a pair of shoes with a smooth bottom, stepped on it hard and Hooah! The pedestal came off! Thank you! I then unscrewed the base from the floor…..no more use of table. Will unscrew the base off the front as well…..now I need to take the second row passenger seat out….the one next to the sliding door. Will come back if I need help with that!

There's a thread on the second row seat removal somewhere. Use the search function. Oh, and welcome to the forum!
