Name your Interstate

A lot of folks don't know that Airstream will send you, for free, a very nice engraved plaque with the name and the VIN of your Interstate (or any Airstream, as far as that goes).

I had just received the plaque for my 2014 when I traded it for the 2018. The plaque for my 2018 came today; it is already installed using the adhesive backing.

There is a form on the Airstream website to order your plaque. It takes a while for it to arrive ... in my case, it was about 4 months.

This is a class act!

I have the name on the outside, too, but the free plaque from Airstream is meant for use in the interior of the Airstream. It shows that the name has been registered with the mother ship.

How long does it take to get the plate. I registered my name and got a confirmation, but no plate.

It took me about 4 months, both times. Apparently, they let the requests pile up and do them in batches.

We just got ours today. We think we registered it when we first bought our airstream in dec 17. We didn’t get it by April of this year so we for sure did it this time two months ago.
