Funny. We have been looking for about 4 months since we were in the process of downsizing from a 40' Country Coach Prevost bus we had built for us 15 years ago. Selling it privately and planning to only use the proceeds for our next unit. Seriously considered Itasca Navion. Wanted to be smaller, 20+ ft and easier to get into homes of friends and small campgrounds especially in the Northeast. Visited Advanced RV in Ohio and fell in love with what he is doing as far as electrical and HVAC in a Class B. Could not negotiate and his price was just too high. Looked online at Airstream Interstate but never gave it any thought due to the website not showing anything of "use" for "real camping." Seemed like a "fancy" station wagon. All pictures show it at fancy places. So we never looked at it further. Went to Hershey to really look at RoadTrek and was pretty sure this was the direction. Made an appointment to go to Colonial RV in Lakeland, NJ and while talking with Patrick as he explained more about the RoadTrek and we discussed our past history of camping units and Advanced RV, he asked, "Did you look at the Airstream?" Well, no, we had not. He took us to one, explained it and we bought it 2 days later. We pick it up on the 10th.
