MB Seatback Folding Tray Table & Jacket Hanger

Fresh off the plane. Wife just got back from Europe and found these on sale at local dealership in Milan. Much cheaper than could be had in the USA. Prices in US are about $400-$450 for the set of all 4 pieces (2 base units, 1 folding tray table, 1 jacket hanger). She got 4 sets for the price of 1 set. Now installed in AI. Was not sure if my gamble would pay off, there were no measement specs I could find . . . It fits! Woohoo!

Very nice indeed! Almost looks like something one of you guys would have designed, crafty engineering bunch that you are.

Next time I go to Germany I am getting the hanger attachment for the backs of my GTI seat. As you said cheaper and it will come from Volkswagen Wolfsburg where family has worked for several generations.

HITTENSTIEHL - Yes much cheaper. Not sure why so expensive here, I assume just because MB or BMW or Jag dealers know the US market will pay their inflated price. MB, BMW, & Jag have their own branded units, but I am sure they will cross fit each others headrests. Just be sure to measure. I am almost sure they get them from same Euro manufacturer, coz BMW & MB have models where the base is built in to the seatback, which does not need to attach to headrest shafts. Not sure VW has their own branded unit but these fit VW also. My daughter has GTI, she does not know yet its her Christmas present
