However, like most non-Airstream RV's, the Tiffin's interior looks like it was designed by Grandma and doesn't particularly appeal to us. If they'd just do a serious update to the decor, it could be an interesting option.[/QUOTE]

We are older and have a more traditional house so the Tiffin's cabinets are much like those in our house. So, in that respect, it will feel like home.

I asked about getting to the bathroom with the slides in and they assured me you can. Next time we look at one, I will have them put in the slides.

The money has been wired for the AI and we will soon officially no longer be owners. The buyers liked the condition of our AI and they really liked some of the mods. It all helped in them choosing to buy it. They will be picking it up in a couple weeks. They are from Johnson City, TN so they are not too far away. Our daughter also lives in Johnson City.

We may regret it, but we are going to buy the 2014 Tiffin Allegro Breeze 32BR. A private owner in Florida is letting his go for a very, very good price. So, if it doesn't work out for us, at least we will be buying it at a reasonable price. It will be at least a couple weeks before we pick it up.

This was his second Breeze but he has four children and wants to move into a fifth wheel with a bunkhouse room. It has been kept indoors, and plugged in, the entire time he has owned it. He bought it new in March, 2014.

We looked at the Allegro Breeze.
One thing I have mixed emotions about:
The low profile has pros and cons.
Due to the low profile, the wheel wells protrude into the living area.
In the larger Class A's the floor is totally above the wheel wells.
I also noticed a wire loom visible into the curb side slide.
I guess there is no other way to route the wires.
Nit-picky I know...
Tiffin does make a good coach, and living in Mississippi factory service would be a reasonable trip from home for me.
When a new Tiffin coach is purchased, the owner can go to the factory and watch his coach come down the assembly line.

I didn't notice the wire loom but the wheel well protrusions are definitely there. At this point I am agreeable to putting up with that for the lowered height. Besides fitting into my storage area, the coach should also fit under most gas station canopies. The first time I trip on those raised areas may change my opinion!

Look at the cabinetry on the curb slide slide toward the rear of the coach when the slide is extended fully.
There may simply be no place else to put those wires. It resembles a black snake coming out of the cabinetry/wall stationary part of the RV and going into the wall/cabinetry of the slide.
My memory could be in error of which RV I saw this in, too...
We have walked through many coaches...

Well the time has come and I must now relinquish my keys and depart my role as mostly spectator in the Airstream Forum. Just signed papers on a new larger rig and am readying my beloved 2016 Interstate for the trade in. 18k miles in one year ain't bad. Never a hiccup in the Sprinter. I just hope the next rig will have a community and forum as informative and civil as this has been. And.....I hope there is a Protagonist there to keep it real..Safe travels and good luck to all!

$250,000 worth of bling-
SB or RB?
The only difference I could see was the L-lounge or straight sofa.

I have seen those parked at campgrounds and always thought they looked cool. That is a beast. On a western trip in the mountains, I might be looking for you to tow my Breeze so I can get to the top!

The 36 ft only comes in SB with straight sofa. I wanted the shortest Renegade coach on Freightliner chassis to have some maneuverability. Like the Sprinter, I wanted front engine and not a flat front coach. It feels safer that way.

Probably wouldn't even feel you back there! I hope you enjoy your Breeze. We looked at the new ones and they are very nice. But then the wife saw the Renegade and that was that. I think it was the washer/dryer. That's all she cares about. Haha.

We were able to compare the AI alongside the Unity at the dealership and the QC of the AI was sorely lacking compared to the Unity. Like some of the AS "cheer leaders" here, we have had zero issues with our Unity in 3 years and almost 17,000 miles.
