Last fall, I replaced my macerator hose on my 2011 AI with a clear vinyl 3/4 inch OD horse purchased at a hardware/box store. It was $2.00 a foot. I brought 15 feet. I have used it for the past three months (snow bird) emptying the pumps weekly. I have used it down to 35 degrees F. No problem so far.

I changed it on my driveway with the driver side dual wheel raised three inches on a wooden 2X ramp. You remove the exterior metal box(two aft fastener and one front fastener). I ended up removing the complete unit in order to gain access to the clamps and fitting. Took a couple of hours if your mechanically inclined.

Kanaflex is designed for this purpose and works even better than the original. Amazon's price when I bought it was 36 bucks for 100'. You can buy it by the foot for a little less than $1 per foot at https://www.centralstateshose.com/Ka...c_p_20846.html .

In my previous post I mentioned 3/4 inch OD... that was wrong... my AI has 3/4 inch ID (inner diameter) not “OD” (outer diameter) I had purchased a one inch ID hose on Amazon but it was too big and I could not get a good seal..

That's why I recommend the Kanaflex 110CL. It fits perfectly and is as a good or better hose than Airstream uses from the factory. The dealer wanted $100 for 20 feet of the same hose that comes from the factory. A bit of a ripoff.

I already have a replacement hose but I would be interested in picking up a spare. How much for 20' shipped to 93420?
Thanx,
Bill
