Lug Nut Caps

I'm having a problem with the lug nut caps. I ordered a few from Airstream at $5.50 a piece.

Any good ideas regarding tightening them down? I've had six RVs and never lost one.

I gave up on those stainless covered lug nuts and ordered solid stainless ones. Sometimes the covering comes loose on the covered nuts.

After noticing how loose mine were, I put a small piece of masking tape on two of the flats on each lug nut to add more friction and after 14K miles, I haven't lost one.

Personally I think the tool that made the small indent on every other flat on the cap was wearing out and didn't make a large enough in them.
Glass half full or half empty to an engineer is simply a glass that was over designed.

PM me for sale info on my 2011. SOLD!
