See my post 878 of Wachuko's thread. Mine was easier than his - they have either changed the design a bit or the manufacturing tolerance stack-up worked in my favor, but not for Wachuko. Note that you are only raising the minimum point by 1", but that inch may prove critical.

Are you talking about the LP Fill Port Cover, a piece of black plastic? I checked my records when I bought a replacement through dealer a few years ago. It took a few weeks to get it and cost about $100 with shipping.

The complete assembly, including the cover. All damaged when we encountered a curb. My question is what is the normal time required to get replacement parts from Ohio to Oregon? I was in the parts business (copier parts) and I got parts to customers in days not months. I've been waiting a month, still no parts. Is this normal?

What does the dealer you ordered parts from say? Airstream Customer Service told me that you can only get parts through an Airstream dealer. No factory direct sales on parts. The dealer is often the weak link. Did they actually order the parts from Airstream? First step would be to confirm the order was placed.

Great Question, my dealer is "Airstream Adventures NW", they seem to be a good outfit" Good tech's, but it's not easy to have any words with them without management being near. They said they ordered the parts from Airstream mid May. Don't really know. This part of "RVing" is part I like least. Good service is hard to find, seems that way, at any price.
