Kenwood radio - Garmin Nav system

I have had my 2015 Grand Tour for two weeks now. I have two questions about the Kenwood/Garmin Nav system:
1) How do you save addresses into the Garmin system?
2) How can you get Nav info into Garmin from cellphone contacts downloaded to the Kenwood phone system?

Thanks.

I have a DNX890HD - your 2015 Grand Tour probably has a later model with more bells and whistles.
On my DNX890HD:

1) You save addresses by first entering the components of the address until its complete and the location recognized. Then it gives you 3 options: Routes, "i" and Go! Select the "i" and it gives you another screen with a map, the address and three horizontal bars. Touch those horizontal bars and it responds with "Save" or "Cancel". Hit "Save" and then it brings up the keyboard; hit "Done" on the keyboard, and then it says the address is added to Saved Places.

2) Cellphone contacts only get downloaded to the phone app and are not visible to the Navigation app, unfortunately, on my model.

I have a 2016 with the Dnn991HD. I gave up even trying to use it to make a phone call with my iPhone 6. I think you need a computer engineering degree.

Some settings are very obscure. I did once contact their support to get my iPhone connected up and much to my surprise they gave me an accurate answer:

customercare@ccc.kenwoodusa.com
1-800-536-9663 .
Our hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9AM to 9PM, Saturday 9AM to 6PM or Sunday 10AM to 5PM.
