Kenwood DNX890HD - OEM Features

Does anyone have active icons under OEM FEATURES on this radio.

I'm a but of an audiophile and am underwhelmed to say the least with entertainment system in my AI.

The unit looks like it has potential but it only interfaces for volume on the steering wheel, Airstream connected camera to that crazy Pyle mirror rather than one of the TWO video inputs on the Kenwood and the speakers/bass are mediocre at best.

Thinking a FLIR thermal camera on the front might be good addition, and Alpine speakers, but not sure about sub or additional amps needed to power it.

Any input on making this machine a party wagon?

And a heads-up display projecting on the windshield for the FLIR?

I was thinking just connect it to the Kenwood.

I did have a thermal with heads up on my Cadillac STS ten years or so ago; it was pretty cool, but with HID lights I could see the deer before the thermal picked them up.

I'm interested to see how this goes for you.

Our last interstate a 2010, we had kenwood dnx 8190 hd head unit and replaced all speakers with infinity speakers in stock locations, tweeters in dash and added amps and a subwoofer located under passenger rear seat above wheel well. It all sounded very good but bass was limited in front.
