Kenwood dnn990hd

I am thinking of upgrading the GPS etc in my 09 Interstate. Interested in comments if you have this unit. Airstream reported to me that this is the new standard for them. The DNN990HD is being put in all there new units. If you have upgraded to this Kenwood were there any changes that had to be done.
And is this a easy fit?
Thanks

As for whether it's an easy fit, depends on what you had before. If you're upgrading from another Kenwood unit it's almost plug-and-play, except the DNN990HD has more USB inputs, and if you want one routed somewhere besides the glove box you may have some drilling and fishing to do. I was at a Kenwood dealer last Friday, looking at the same thing, upgrading from my DNX7180, but I left without making up my mind. Compared to adding Koni shocks and getting a Renntech ECU tune, upgrading the Kenwood head unit is low on my priorities.
