Interstate spotted thread

How about a thread for Interstate's spotted in the wild? Bonus points for pics.

I'll start. Monday January 10th approx. 10am, Oklahoma City, I40 west bound at the I44 junction I spotted a silver Interstate in my mirror as I exited I40W to I44E (N). I was driving my silver Interstate at the time but you were about 1/4 mile back so you might have missed me. Anyone here?

Not me either...unless husband hit the road to Oklahoma instead of to Borrego Springs, CA, where he's supposed to be this weekend!

I spotted one on Intersate 44 west bound sitting on the shoulder east of Lebanon MO on 1/17/2014. It was black. I love the look of the black rig but I know how I am. I would be washing it every day!

This spotting actually occurred last October, but it's worth mentioning. While on vacation, we stopped at Wall Drug in South Dakota and when I went to park, I discovered a nearly identical Interstate, so naturally I had to park right next to it. I never did meet the owner, however. It was gone by the time we came out of Wall Drug.

Here's a pic. My Interstate is on the left (I think)

February 5, 2014 while doing my Wednesday morning run at the Pompano Air Park in Pompano Beach, Florida I observed a nice looking silver Interstate heading south on Federal Highway. As it approached and went past me I was thinking that it looked EXACTLY like ours including the bicycle rack and what looked like Florida tag. My heart sank thinking the worst. I ran to my car and quickly drove to where we store the Jodamobile in Pompano Beach. What a happy relief when I saw our Interstate smiling at me in the morning sun.

Very well could be me. On my way to SHOT show in Vegas and a short trip up the 1 to Santa Barbara. Have to check the captains log to be sure on time but date and location match for sure.

Really crappy weather coming down through STL, but we made it!

Yep, that happens!

You'll learn to watch for the AC and awning......even then, it may be a PleasureWay, RoadTrek, or home-grown rig.

We ran into a couple on Padre Island a few weeks ago, who had bought a 2005 Sprinter Van and made it into a camper van.

He built and installed beautiful cabinetry and countertops, and she installed all the windows. They had everything we have, but the shower.

We always wave, regardless. They're all kin.

Yea, they're like cousins.

Here's a pic of ours parked outside our condo this morning. We got back from 5 days in Palm Springs, parked her outside overnight (lucked into a parking spot), and took her back to storage this morning.

Spotting your own is kind of cheating, isn't it? Unless of course you expected it to be gone when you looked out the window…

haha!!! I don't think it's cheating!! It's just "getting creative."

But ya know what? Our neighborhood is cool, but is a bit on the edge. So, it was good to be able to keep an eye on her. And it's always nice (a relief!) to see her still there in the morning!!

So I was on Jury Duty yesterday (4/17/14), when I received a text message from my wife asking why I wasn't at JD. Apparently, there was an AI exactly like ours parked at a shopping center near our house (corner of Beach Blvd and Malvern in Buena Park). Was it anyone here? Who almost got me in trouble yesterday? 😃🚐
