I'll meet you there next March 😃 I want to go back because the owner of Global Expedition Vehicles ordered an AWD Sprinter and will be converting it into an Expedition Vehicle. He said it should be ready by Nov 2014.

Spotted a Black AI heading north on WA536 just outside Mt Vernon, WA. I waved a little late and women driving probably didn't have time to respond. Our's is silver.

Spotted on Sunday 9/28/14 a Silver Ext a 2014 in Wheaton IL on Roosevelt Road in a Mobil gas station.

We saw a 2007 Interstate at the Terraport 9/15 and 9/16 and many 2015's coming off the assembly line.

Anyone know annual sales figures for Interstates?

SF bay area to Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Washington and Oregon we saw one identifiable AI on interstate 5 heading north around Roseburg, Oregon. Saw lots of class b's including a Citroën Springer short wheel base class b van with two german gals at the helm!

Just returned from a Michigan to Vermont trip today. Spotted a silver extended interstate identical to ours in Woodstock Vermont and a second one eastbound on I90 just west of Erie, Penn. Camped at a koa in Penn. about 10 campsites from a silver Westfalia as well.

Saw a new black Interstate on MS Highway 7 northbound between Greenwood and Grenada at about 2:30 PM.

Spotted a silver Interstate yesterday(10/26) around 1 pm on Rt 29 near Warrenton, VA. It was heading north.

I had my silver Interstate in Leesburg and Winchester, VA yesterday afternoon, but not near Warrenton so it wasn't me.

Spotted silver AI westbound on 70 @ KC - MO; wait. That's me! On my way to SEMA. NAV says 19:30 to go!

Northern route this trip via Denver, last two trips were via I40. Looking forward to seeing how the AI does in real mountains.

Enjoy SEMA. I got to go about five years ago on a special offer from SEMA for non-automotive folks. Had to spend one day evaluating displays and the rest of the time was mine. It's a gear head's heaven.

Their offer this year was only good for a half day. That's not nearly enough time to see all of the displays.

If you had come around KC on 435 on the south side, you would have been about two miles from me. Could have "spotted" another silver one and since it's parked, get bonus points for a picture.

If you haven't been there, I highly recommend a visit to the Shelby factory. About 20 miles north of town and have a great tour.

Your "points for photo" comment had me check back. I posted this on a different thread, but this Interstate was spotted at Leonard Harrison State Park in Pennsylvania on Oct 8.

This is cheating because it is self-spotting, but at least it comes with an interesting newbie-driven anecdote. A micro-gathering of Interstates in Houston Texas yesterday afternoon, with a dialog paraphrased like this:

Newbie: Some people have stopped their car dead in the road behind us... why??

Host: Don't worry - you'll get used to it. It happens all the time.

Newbie: What do they want?

Host: They want to know what these vehicles are because they've never seen them before, and now they are seeing two at once. Sometimes they will offer to buy your Interstate on the spot. Sometimes they just come right up to you to ask this, and some of them have no respect. No respect. I keep telling my husband not to talk to people who do that.

Saw a silver one this morning, around 10:00 am, parking next to the Whole Foods in Hillcrest (San Diego). Non-extended version, and had one of those white domes on the roof in the back (satellite?). Speak up!! Who wenteth there???
