I had it made at an upholstery shop. It uses snap on like the curb side curtains on side door window all around to seal top, bottom and sides. I wanted it for cool nights as on warm nights I use AC.

I also made one for back doors when fully open as well.

I added this bumper to folding extension counter driver's side back seating area to protect my grandkids head injury.

I was pulling out of a driveway that was bumpy and my grandson hit his head on corner of this fold out counter top while in down position and cut himself pretty bad.

I found this in the baby latch care section at lowe's.

What did you do to hold the door to that opening width?

It looks like he is using the intermediate stop that can be ordered from Sprinter or you can actually add it aftermarket like I did.

Actually, that is where the 2012 MB Sprinter side door locks in open position.

Is there a way to get it past the intermediate stop to open it fully then on that option?

Did you post instructions or pictures? I searched but didn't find anything.

No, I just purchased the intermediate stop and mounted it on my RV. However, short of removing it, I do not know how to open the door fully anymore.

I want to do this also but does the door stay in locked open position with new door stop?

Changing out smoke Maxx fan for new white Maxx Fan 5100 with ceiling fan option now which enables air to circulate the cabin with vent closed or open.

Yes it functions just as before with the exception that there is no bump stop when you're opening the door. And as I stated previously, I haven't figured out how to open the door fully without removing the new intermediate stop. I didn't look that closely at the Sprinter van that had the intermediate stop installed but I don't see any way to get past it without removing it.

Teamaron, nice upgrade! Does this have the remote open feature and did you have to reseal the cover?

My latest upgrade is a Dashcam. I got the Mobius unit and I can't believe the quality recordings it makes for under $100. If anyone is interested, search on Mobius on You tube and watch the excellent review done by Techmoan. I hard wired it using a 12v to 5v converter ($4.80) and tapped into the backup display where the overhead interior lights are. Very happy!

I thought about just ordering the white cover to retrofit in place of my smoked cover. Seems like blocking out the sunlight completely would keep more heat out than the tinted unit. Was that your thought?

No

I thought more about the ceiling fan option and the the white hood going better with the white interstate.

But that is a good point I didn't think about. So add that to the list.

Accessories to Back of Front Seats

Ok I bought a pretty cool devise made by BMW to have:

1. Food/Drink Fold Out Tray
2. Coat Hanger
3. Hook for bags and purses

The photos show how it looks stowed away very neatly. The devise sits between the head rest bars with tension with a slip in slot for each application.

I took off the BMW emblem with finest grade steel wool and wiped it down, after all who wants a BMW accessory on a MB?

Looks like you would also need the 51952183852 base carrier or does that come w/ it?
