Oh, and for anyone else thinking of performing this mod, use a small jeweler's screwdriver to release the pin as pictured:

That's funny. I used that exact tool and thought about taking a picture but forgot.

High-temperature paint? Like that used on steel engine blocks?
If not, expect the paint to cook off over time.

Or even better would be VHT exhaust pipe paint.
I still like my DIY chrome tip.

Your probably correct, but I thought for a few dollars it gets rid of the unsightly pipe just sitting there and makes it less noticeable.
If it does 'burn' off I can always touch up. Certainly a lot of paint left in the can. But I notice that the exhaust pipe never gets that hot. It is quite a but away from generator. And I only painted exposed part beyond body.

It's just a lavatory sink chrome plated drain pipe that I cut off and drilled and tapped for two screws to clamp on the pipe. Most hardware stores carry them.

I put my Fiamma privacy room for F65S this weekend. I used the video and manual together to help figure out. Took about 3 hrs for me to do in blazing Texas heat so probably 2 hours without breaks and cooler weather. The process going forward expecting half hour or so to put up and take down and stow.
I absolutely love it, with two cots can sleep two people easily with room to move around, see outside TV etc.
I also put up an outside shower that is very cool as well.
Looking forward to using this on extended stays.

Using a stepladder, it now takes me about 45 minutes to put up my Privacy Room, solo. For two people it could be done in half an hour or so with practice.
Side note, the "fast clip" rails that hold up the side walls can be used by themselves, to keep the awning from flapping so much when the wind picks up, and can be removed quickly when the wind picks up enough to require the awning be retracted.

Yes, you will need a ladder. I have a 4' ladder that folds into 53" long by 4" weighs about 17lbs.

This one? This is what I use. It may not be the best ladder around, but it's the most stepladder I can carry in my Interstate behind the rear seat.

I just did the propane switch mod. I want to thank Gerald for posting the instructions, without which I wouldn't have even attempted doing it myself. It turned out great! Thanks Gerald!

I found an interesting ladder this weekend while getting paint supplies at Sherwin Williams.
Xtend & ClimbŪ 12-1/2' Aluminum Telescoping Extension Ladder - Type II - Homeowners - Sherwin-Williams
There are various sizes and they fold onto about a ten to twelve inch stack, then fold out to full height. I think they would store well.

USB Relocate from Glove box
I moved the USB/iPhone cables from the glove box to the compartment over the radio (2013 Interstate EXT). Popped radio cover off; removed four screws to pull Kenwood out; dremmeled hole large enough for USB cable in corner closest to driver; and pulled cables through.
Now the glovebox can store my front privacy screen.
