USB Relocate from Glove box

I moved the USB/iPhone cables from the glove box to the compartment over the radio (2013 Interstate EXT). Popped radio cover off; removed four screws to pull Kenwood out; dremmeled hole large enough for USB cable in corner closest to driver; and pulled cables through.

Now the glovebox can store my front privacy screen.

I absolutely love it, with two cots can sleep two people easily with room to move around, see outside TV etc.

I also put up an outside shower that is very cool as well.

Looking forward to using this on extended stays.
Hi, your outside shower looks awesome! Where did you get it? Thanks!

Hi, I hope I am in the right place! We've had our 2013 Interstate for one year and love it. The only modification we would like to make is to the tv in the back of the coach. Does anyone know how to adjust the tv so it has the capability to tilt? We've looked at several tv stores and haven't been able to find an adapter for the tv to allow it to tilt. Thanks for your help.

You're almost in the right place. Check out post #26 in this thread…

Television tilt was a sidebar discussion on that thread.

Thanks! That did it. Additionally, we noticed there is a large Allen wrench fixture that will also allow a tilt. It is just behind the silver pin. It's hard to get started, but eventually it will adjust.

OK,

Office Mods so I can work on the road.

1) installed JefaTech-WiFi Repeater - works like a charm; a block from the house I can connect with 5 bars!

1.5) ran a 110v Outlet into cabinet (plug router and Printer into) Just jumped off the 110v outlet the TV is plugged into.

2) installed a door ladder (somewhere to carry the lawn chairs, mount the Wi-Fi antenna, and a way to get on the roof to sweep off the leaves).

3) installed an HP470 Color Printer with USB-Bluetooth Dongle to allow Bluetooth printing from PC, iPhones & Tablets.

4) Made a Plexiglass 'table extender' to turn the table into a 22" x 44" workspace large enough for my desk on the road.

5) Connected PC VGA cable to Rear TV to allow it to connect to my laptop as a 2nd monitor.

Working on a few more. . . .

Ladder & Wi-Fi Extender Antenna

Wi-Fi Repeater Installed

110V wire running in channel behind cabinet into the rear cabinet (drilled hold 6" up as far to right edge as I could (its the white 14/3 coming out of bottom and going behind the right side)

HP470 Bluetooth Printer Installed

Plexi-glass table showing TV as 2nd Monitor

MORE TO COME

CB Radio Installation:
- Used a No Ground Plane antenna as I didn't want to get on the roof.

Removed the plastic cover in front of the Driver's Mirror (pops off with screwdriver) dremmelled out the cover (figured I'd upgrade to chrome ones if I messed it up) and looks / works great!.

Here is the PIC, may end up adding an 'in-dash USB and Aux jack instead'
