Interstate Microwave/Convection

I have a 2009 Interstate. The Apollo micro/oven unit is dead. I believe Airstream now uses a Sharp unit-- anyone know the model number?

It looks like in 2013/14 Airstream used a Cuisinart CMW-200-- does anyone know if this was the standard CMW-200 or if any extra vent fans were used?

You can get both the Apollo and the Cuisinart at Amazon.

I'd rather go with the Cuisinart after reading reviews of the Apollo. However, Cuisinart instructions supposedly call out 12" clearance above the oven-- so I was wondering if AS used additional venting/ fan with this unit.

I'm on my third Cuisinart, for what it's worth.

Do they wear out that quickly?

Ouch.

Is that the Cuisinart CMW-200?

If so did Airstream add any additional venting/ fan to the unit or do you just buy a off the shelf unit to replace the units that fail?

What has been going wrong with the units that have failed?

First one would run for 3 minutes and then cut out. The second one had a loose part inside the motor that rattled badly on a smooth road above 5mph.
Both replaced under warranty.
