Interstate Fresh Water Pump

Just wondering.......

the model number on my fresh water pump is FLOJET 03526500, I can't find this model anywhere on the net, and I do think this model has been discontinued.

I did find FLOJET 03526144A 03526-144A, and it seems to have the same spec's and size as the 03526500. pump height is important, because of its location in the 2016 lounge, under the drawer below the micro wave,

Does anyone know for sure?

The 03526 designates the actual model according to the Flojet RV catalog. The Catalog is available at this web cite:

the last three digits of 144 or 500 probably designate some variation. The 500 is no longer listed so the new 144 is the current 12v version of a model 03562 pump from Flojet RV.

I'm sure it will work just fine.

I just noticed I also have a data sheet on this Flojet pump on my computer, copy attached.

Airstream is using a Flojet Series 3526 pump. The full model number of 03526500 is likely a special model that Flojet designates for the pump they sell to OEM installers in bulk without the fancy packaging and instruction sheets.

If yours is broke, isn't it covered by warranty? Oh, I forgot that Airstream lets you go back to the OEM supplier.

Just realized you have a 2016 Interstate -- it could still have warranty coverage for this pump. But if not and you are going to replace the pump yourself might want to consider a variable speed pump replacement. They are much quieter and fit in the same space. I installed one in my 2013 Interstate in the same spot behind drawer under microwave.

The Flojet pump I used is a R4515-743, described in the attached info sheet. I got the idea from fellow forum member gmillerok1 (Gerald) a few years ago. This VSD pump is super quiet and most of the time I cant even tell when it is running. It is more expensive than the 03526 pump.
