I Was Warned

Stickers

Whoa there was a lot of them.

OK, I have been warned not to sit or lean on the table and don't close the stovetop lid with the flame on

Must have been at least 30 of them I peeled off if you count the 2 EXIT stickers on the front doors.

Hi, Why? I don't know, but I waited about five years before I removed all of my stickers.

I probably never will remove all of them. Any that are useful for guests who aren't familiar with RVs will probably remain in place.

haha!!!! I waited 6 months before I removed all 6 or so of the EXIT stickers! Ya know, just in case I forgot how to exit the vehicle.

Still need to remove the sticky stuff left behind from the sticker warning me not to close the lid on the stove top while in use.

Mission Completed.

I'm amazed at the variety and number of stickers on my new Airstream.
I drafted my wife to help me and in total we removed 15 stickers.

1. Dealer sticker ad.

2. 1 "Thor" sticker ad.

3. 2 "If you don't tighten your lug nuts"....yikes! your wheels will fly off.

4. 5 "When opening this window, it may stick!"

5. 1 "Go Green" very sticky sticker.

6. 5 stickers indoors, I can't remember what they said.

This is how we did it, apply blow dryer for 30 - 45 seconds high heat setting. Peel off sticker, any residual gummy glue apply "goo gone" and wait for five minutes, wipe clean. Apply Spray way glass cleaner to buff clean. On Aluminum we finished it off with a microfiber towel and Meguires quick spray polish.

I'm sure all of these stickers send a critical message but.........we did leave a couple that contain our Vin # just in case some State Trooper is concerned about us knowing what the proper air pressure is etc.

P.S. we did leave the "exit" sticker over the bedroom window, just felt like the right thing to do

Most of my guests probably wouldn't bother to read them, but the thought did cross my mind.

I only had 5 exit stickers. Where is your 6th door?

That sticky residue was a getting off.

I Was Warned

For every sticker, there was a person somewhere that was so entirely devoid of common sense that they prompted the need for a ridiculous warning sticker.....

Yes, someone did try to use the stove with the cover in place....

The exit stickers are probably a government mandate... Lol.

Hi, I think that the fact that I waited so long to remove my stickers that the glue was all dried up and they all came off clean. No traces of glue.

The cover on the stove makes a great griddle, don't you know! Some toothpick packs have instructions on them. Jim

Honestly, I once bought a small package of cinnamon rolls at a gas station. There was a warning on the back of the wrapper that warned" do not insert rectally" needless to say, I wish I chose the Twinkies!
I now heed the warning labels on everything,,,, if its on there, something really bad prompted the sticker being put there!

Something about this quote that makes me fearful...and uncomfortable....if I could only figure it out.
