When we picked up our 1966 Trade Wind 8 years ago there were no warning 'stickers' to be found in or around the coach. I have to conclude that in 1966 and before society was wise enough to know what shouldn't be hazards. I am old enough to remember my mom screaming, "DON'T RUN WITH THOSE SCISSORS"! So now that said I expect such 'stickers' to begin appearing on new scissors. Of course we should also realize that many are looking for any reason to sue a manufacturer for the stupid acts we do or to purposely attempt an act that isn't labeled with such 'Disclaimer'. Now I need to run with scissors to my patio....I just noticed a 'Do not remove' tag dangling from a cushion on a deck chair.

Some comedian, don't remember who, did a routine on "thin the herd" about stickers. My favorite was the one on the hair dryer cord saying "do not use in shower". Duh....

I read one on a tube of toothpaste: "Not to be taken orally". Now, there are only so many ways I can get toothpaste on my teeth, and most of them I don't want to think about...

As for the stickers: For every warning label, there was a lawsuit.

Was in the rig today, and I found more stickers!! YES, TRUE!! There are stickers on the swivel base of the front seats, and then some other warning sticker on the pillar next to the swivel base. Wish I'd taken photos!

And if you buy the AI from a California dealer you get some Proposition 65 stickers to remover too. Breathing diesel engine exhaust your whole lifetime could kill you -least that is what they have concluded from research on rats. Ca. also requires Prop 65 warning on lead bullets - because the lead in the bullets can cause brain damage. Steel bullets are safe, I guess.

That's funny! Well, I'm in CA, and I know that I feel much safer here knowing that my government is looking out for me. (insert "snarky" emoticon).

Rats have no business driving diesels.
