Hi, you know you're replying to a 2 1/2 year old thread?
You should start a new thread to avoid confusion.

A fully charged 12 volt battery measures about 12.6v. At about 12.1v it is half discharged. You can buy a small dc voltmeter on Amazon that you connect to the battery or any place you have a 12 volt light or receptacle for less than $20. Just make sure you check the voltage when the batteries aren’t being used to power much of anything.

Here is a table showing the voltage versus the percent charged and an $8.99 voltmeter you can order from Amazon.

On an Interstate, you don't need to buy a separate meter. The battery voltage for both the house and the chassis batteries is available with a button push on the tank monitor panel

Reopen a 30 month old post with a relevant question? So What? If you know an answer, help someone. If not, make coffee.
