How Many Miles Do You Have On Your Interstate?

How many current miles?

How many miles did you have when you bought, if you bought used?

16,600 miles to date after 2¼ years of ownership and use. Not as many as I'd like, but respectable for someone still working for a living and with a schedule controlled by my employer.

4K when I got it at less than a year old. Saved about 40K off MSRP. About 23K now after about 2.5 years.

Bought it in November with 4700 miles on it. It was a demo, born in February 2013 (they looked it up for me at AS Ohio). It now has 9,000 miles on it, so we've put on 4300 miles in just over 5 months.

I bought my 2013 AI in Apr 2013 with 50 miles on it, and it now has 10.3K miles. I haven't been on any long trips yet so this is mostly all local miles. So don't ask me about the fuel mileage 😜

Wow, $40K is a lot of Ks. I missed out on a similar deal by a few hours 😢

Protagonist, I seem to remember in your posts that your soon going to learn that WORK is a 4-letter-word. Retirement coming soon, but probably not soon enough.

Bought it new and got $26K discount. We've got over 5500 miles or so. Used it right after we got it late Sept 2013, camped long weekend not too far from home, then a week in Branson and now just got back from 3 weeks to Florida and home.

Pur. 1976 new in 1977 now less than 15,000 miles not 150,000 miles as some might think as sat idle from 1979 until 1993 then used rarely until 4 yrs. ago. 0ne trip to Mark Twain lake used locally 4 times a yr. since 1993 less than 50 miles per trip

Come to think about it, I got $30K off MSRP on mine too (I'm a retired Contracts Manager where negotiation was my profession) 😜

Please, let's not turn this into an "I got $xxk off mine." thread. Since MSRP goes up every model year, comparing purchase price to MSRP has little value when you're comparing different model years anyway.

When it comes right down to it, we all actually bought Interstate Class-Bs. So, we all got at least enough off the MSRP to make the purchase rather than walking away from the deal. That's all that matters.

Picked up ours just before Thanksgiving 2013. It sat in storage for a month after that due to previously-planned intenational travel. I was anxious to get home and start to get to know the new Airstream.
So far....4000 miles +/-. itching to dewinterize and start putting some serious mileage behind us. Learning something new about it every week.....learned a lot on this forum.

We bought our 2014 in June 2013 with 49 miles, after taking out for a test drive. We're approaching 7500 miles now.

Bought mine new in October 2012; then retired and started traveling in March 2013. We now have over 30,000 on our Interstate. Traveling is great fun for us!

Heading to Alaska this summer.

With all due respect to Protag, I like seeing the discount figures. Its a question that comes up often enough on other forums (trailers esp), so why not here? I think we can allow a little latitude in the Interstate ownership threads. I am a prospective buyer and really like to see what values are allowing for depreciation based on age and mileage (relevant to this thread) as well as year. Sure prices go up as do features, but we can all account for that in our thinking. Right now, the value of the 2014.5 chassis upgrade is tugging on me, but I'm not sure that uplift in MSRP is justified (based on what Thor pays for the same option on the chassis.) Negotiations are all part of the purchase experience... Let 'em brag! BTW, a little birdie clued me in on the 2015 model cycle coming up in May/June. Expect a "Camper" model with perhaps a larger fridge and a microwave you don't have to get on your knees to use!

Bought mine out of state last August and put on 1600 circuitous miles getting it home. With only one trip so far it has about 2500 total miles. This year we plan trips of 300mi, 1100mi and the biggee comming up in Sept: ~ 7500miles.

Discount off MSRP is unfortunately like gas mileage. What people say they got isn't always 100% truthful unfortunately, so take it FWIW.

I think Protag's comment was also because this is a thread about miles driven not price paid.

You could call it "thread drift"! I'm with Protag though, if the treads were kept on topic it would be much easier to search and find stuff later.
