Help identifying 2 wires hanging from Airstream Avenue

Anyone know what these two wires are for? I first thought they were for the Macerator pump that had been removed, but I think those wires are on the right side.

Thanks in advance!

I believe you are correct that they are not for the missing macerator pump as those wires would be on opposite side of your dump valves and a heavier gauge wire.

On my Avenue, I have two sets of wires in that area (neither of which are cut and hanging like yours). One set goes to the tank heating pad. I assume the other goes to the tank level sensor.

Do you get a reading from your gray tank monitor panel? Does your gray tank heater light come on red when the switch is on? Is the tank heater pad still attached? It is common for them to start to detach from the leading edge. If not caught in time, or if caught on road debris, the pad could have been ripped off completely.

Also, I notice there is a flexible connection clamped in your gray piping in that area. Mine has continuous black abs glued pipe. This could be a factory change between our model years, or it could be an indication of a repair, possibly from road damage which could have also taken out whatever the wires connected to. Just speculating, since it looks different than mine.
