Adjusted the power awning angle a couple of days ago. I pulled the fuse while I worked on it then replaced the fuse and closed the awning. All was fine.
Today I closed the sliding door and the awning began extending and closing by itself just a little way. Started the engine and the awning stopped in closed position. Shut off engine closed sliding door and all seems fine.
Has anyone else experienced this behavior or any ideas on why it would happen?
Thanks

I have not had a similar experience, although I have not adjusted the angle of my awning. I was reluctant to do so because it looked like if the sliding door was left open it would get in the way of the retracting awning. Have you checked to see if this is going to be a problem for you?
Still doing the same thing if I slam the sliding door too hard. Otherwise seemed fine til last night when I found it extended about 2 feet. Could not get it to retract so I tried the manual crank without success. Pulled fuse and reinstalled no change. Finally started engine and had to help it retract by moving the support arms. Pulled fuse for now.

You might try checking out the connections at the awning switch and the control unit. The control unit is located behind the panel that contains the generator switch, solar controller, water heater switches, etc.
