Great Dealer Service Clinic Portland OR

Today, Airstream Northwest in Portland , Oregon held its first Airstream Owner's Clinic for both Interstate and Trailer customers. Topics covered included A/C, Heater and Thermostat Operation; How to get most out of your refrigerator on hot days; Awning operation; Added options for your Airstream; and an open Q&A session following the clinic. After the Clinic there was a drawing for nice prizes as well as a barbecue lunch served. I found this Clinic a great post sale service that has helped me to better understand the operation of my Interstate. Thank you Airstream Northwest, this clinic was excellent and well presented by your Service and Parts Department Staff!! Time well spent!!

And thank you for the review. airstream should support this program and have it at every dealership along with towing school.

Thanks for the feedback on this service. I'm moving to Vancouver, WA in a few weeks and it's good to know where I can look for information and service (when needed) on my Airstream.

Airstreams Northwest seems to be doing a bang up job of being a good to great Airstream dealer. I got mine at the Boise/Nampa Idaho branch, and have been very pleased.

I also hear great things about Airstream of Spokane. Not as big an operation, but sounds like they have a good personal touch.

Portland, OR Airstream Adventures is a fabulous dealership! All sales people "talk the talk" but the good people at the Portland dealership "walk the walk" and make buying & owning an Airstream a delight!

I didn't even buy my AS at the Seattle (actually Kent) Airstream Northwest dealership, but got an invite and went to the one in Kent a couple weeks ago. They did a bang up job at that one as well.

Airstream Adventures Northwest has great people that really take care of their customers. The seminar was well attended and very much worth the time to attend. I am extremely happy to have purchased my AS from them!

First Drive

When we picked up our 2015 FC Northwest spent pretty much the whole day going over every aspect of the trailor and hitch. They even had their head tech drive our tow vehicle with us to show us what to look for and using the brake controller. He then sat in the passenger seat while I drove and mentored my driving and then gave me a backing lesson. I then pulled out into Portland rush hour traffic with 27 feet of trailer behind me - got to I-5 Stayed in the left lane at 55 mph. having an anxiety attach but made it to our destination unscathed. The point is we loved our experience in picking up our AS

As I have said in the past, they do a great job there. Not perfect by any means, but they have always worked hard to keep me happy. I have no issue recommending them!

I hope they keep up the effort they are making, it is above and beyond...

Glad they've been good for some..

I'm so glad to hear that this dealership has been good for some of you. We have unfortunately had very bad experiences there. After buying our first trailer there, we vowed never to go back after they changed the price on us during the closing process (!), sold us a hitch with3.75" of ground clearance (we were newbies at the time and didn't know that this is insane), and were generally unresponsive or dismissive of our concerns.

For our next trailer we researched and researched and after figuring out exactly the year and layout we wanted, we were excited to see that exact model come up on RVTrader. When we saw, to our dismay, that it was a Airstream Adventures NW, our first response was that it's not worth dealing with them and we'd rather drive to Florida to pick up. I guess I had a moment of weakness, and we went to see it... and then another moment of weakness when we decided to buy it.

The second purchase has been just as painful as the first, but at least we knew that going in to it. It's on me for buying from a dealer that I know has poor business practices, but I'll drive to Spokane for our service or do it ourselves and I certainly won't buy from them again.

Great Dealer Service Clinic Portland OR

Sorry for your poor experience in Portland.

We've had good luck at Airstream Adventures NW in Covington, WA. The service there has gotten much better over the past two years and continues to improve since they brought in their most recent service manager a while back. Those guys also really went to the wall for us on several warranty issues with Airstream to get us what we needed, and we'd gladly shop / service there again.

We've also had a good service experience at Airstream in Spokane and would recommend them as well.

So, that makes us fortunate enough to have a good dealer on each side of the same state.

That is unfortunate that you fell into the realm of customers that make up those statistics a lot of us use to gauge the places we spend our money. I hope future endeavors work in your favor.

I was very pleased with my experience working with them on the purchase of my 2013 Interstate

Our dealer recently hosted another owners' clinic, though we weren't able to attend this one. You could contact their service department and ask to be added to the mailing list for notification of future events. Of course, you'll get other email offers from them as well, but it's been a manageable stream so far and worth it to us.
