Good Mercedes experience on the road.

We are at the halfway point of our month long road trip in the AI. We are currently staying at a house that overlooks Monterey Bay here in California. The "B" service was due and the nearest Mercedes Sprinter dealer was Mercedes of San Jose. The sales rep was a car guy who used to race an "E" production MGB and who currently has a 450hp Bullitt clone '68 Mustang. Being a car guy, we hit it off immediately. They did a great job and gave the AI a much needed wash.

Tomorrow we head down the Pacific Coast Hwy to Morro Bay and then on to LA to visit one of my sisters.

The view from my buddy's house. Unfortunately, there has been a haze in place since we have been here. The cloud in the distance is Monterey Bay. Dan was the "best man" at our wedding 47 years ago.

Nice! And, by the way, most of us are happy to leave LA. haha!! Even though I live in San Diego now, I still think the best parts of the state are from Santa Barbara, north.
