Front floor mat for 2016 Grand Tour

We just picked up our new 2016 Grand Tour. And, we are interested in replacing the front carpet with a vinyl floor mat such as Weathertech or Lloyds. They both list floor mats for a Sprinter Van, but I am unsure whether they will actually fit the Grand Tour. Has anyone purchased replacement floor mats for their rv? We appreciate any experience or advice you may have. Thanks.

Welcome to the AirForums.

Unless they changed something, I'll bet either WeatherTech or Lloyd mats will fit. A phone call or email to them could confirm.

We went with weathertech including the optional center piece that fits between the seats, although a bit tight. Well worth the price.

Weathertech fits perfectly. They do slide against the smooth floor underneath when the passenger places a force with their feet and pushes. Going to try anti slip rug pads, then Velcro if that doesn't work to remedy the issue.

Love them, regardless of slipping.

Weathertech is what I am using and love them no carpet and easy to clean with the Weathertech cleaner even in a machine-shop environment.

The WeatherTech is good, but just rinsing it or using ordinary soap doesn't remove scuff marks and oil stains. A product like Simple Green is required to get it looking good.

Weathertek

Thank you to everyone for the comments. We did buy the Weathertek floor mats (front and center pieces) and are happy with them. Although we have noticed the slight slippage that others have mentioned. If anyone has found a remedy for the slippage, we'd appreciate hearing it.

Might try some double-backed carpet tape.

We went old school and simply put non-slip bathroom rugs up front so we could be comfy and simply throw them in the washer when needed. Down the middle and the isle to the back, we took a queue from another AI owner an cut a runner from the home improvement store. This combination adds comfort to our feed and easy of cleaning. Our little dog also loves not slipping around when coming up to visit us in the cockpit. I found it very difficult to get pet hair out of the factory carpet.
