The sprinter is wired to accept a trailer brake controller. That connection is under the drivers seat pedestal. With the trailer brake controller attached to the sprinter the trailer by extension will receive the benefits of the Mercedes capable stability control and brake control.

Get yourself a good trailer brake controller. Mines a draw tite but it is made by Tekonsha.

Also source the Mercedes connector parts which would make this whole affair a plug and play solution. There is a thread on the sprinter forums that provides all the details. I will find it and post.

Better trailer and airstream image. Ready to roll to Watkins Glen tomorrow.

While the dedicated e36 M3 track car is in the midst of an unplanned engine transplant my e90 M3 has to step up as the back up car.

That car and trailer combination is close to 5000 lbs.

I have four boys ages 9,11,13 and 15. My wife and I want to take a family this summer out west to the Rockies from Florida. We are planning on going for 30+ days. From your experience, would the Van and a tear drop be able to accommodate all of us? I'm thinking specifically of the new AS Basecamp. I'm am currently trying to decide between a pop-up camper trailer or a teardrop that can fit in a garage. Any advice would be welcome, especially regarding the creative part.
