DuraBrite Wheels

You folks with DuraBrite wheels, how is the finish holding up? I'm getting tired of the maintenence on my uncoated Alcoa's.

Thanks for any feedback.

Good question. I've given up trying to keep my bare Alcoa's polished, especially the front wheels which get a lot of brake dust. I just keep them clean now and don't bother to polish them - too much work for short term benefit.

I just applied it on the wheels I polished and it looks good so far which is admittedly not very long. What I've read about it looks good and it's available through Eastwood Classic Car Supply who usually carry only top notch stuff.

Mine are holding up great almost 3 years in and 30,000 miles. It is always garaged when not in use.

Thanks for the info. Looks like a good product. It is expensive at $60 per quart, but if it works - well worth it.

FYI, according to Alcoa when I checked, the Durabright is not a coating per se, but something they do to the alloy.
