Driving With Pop Out Windows Open

Anybody drive with their Van windows open all the way? I know you can crack them a little to get some airflow but can you open them and drive freeway speed?

I have done that with no ill effect other than a LOT of wind noise breeze that picked up every loose piece of paper and blew them about the interior. If I ever do that again I will be sure every loose item is nailed down.

Done it many times. I open the rear slightly to pull AC from cab into the back while driving.

I find having the rear windows open a little greatly improves the effectiveness of the AC in the cab, very important when the van has been sitting in the AZ sun for several hours.

I never do. Maybe if Louisiana highways weren't so chock full of potholes to cause the tip-out windows to bounce against their little operating levers…

I've done it occasionally with no ill effects.
