Dometic Fridge not cool enough

this 2005 Interstate is new to me and I've never owned any type of RV before.
I leveled the van ( well almost level) on the driveway and have been trying to get the fridge cold.
I know the gas is on and the flue is warm. The fridge gets almost cool but not cold.
Is there any maintenance I can do to improve the performance.
Even though I'm original from the I do like my beer cold

Two points:

Some refers take forever and a day (OK, I'n exaggerating, more like overnight) to properly cool down.

If that's not your issue, investigate adding small computer fans.

Some people get good results putting a couple of them inside the refer, and that just moving around the air makes a good difference.

Others find that installing some on the back to move air over the left to right fins you see, neat the top of the back on most refers.

Google this idea, or here is a look at what I am talking about.

I bought a kit that has a piece of plastic gutter that is the width of the cooling fins with a computer fan that blows air up through the downspout connector and over the cooling fins on the backside (outside) of the frig and we always put a small container of ice (in a Zip-loc baggie) in the bottom of the frig to aid in keeping it cold. Works well for me.
