Do you wave?

Just seems natural to wave when passing another Sprinter RV on the road. Not many wave back. Do you wave when you pass another Sprinter RV? Just Interstates? All Class B's? Never?

I give all Airstreams a happy to see you wave. I have never had an Interstate/Sprinter/B return my courtesy wave.

IMHO WBCCI members and Vintage Airsteam Owners are much more likely to wave. I also think Sprinters don't fit the Airstream iconic archetype and are likely to be not recognized as such. Does anybody remember the Airstream purist debate about if Argosy Owners should be allowed to join WBCCI?

I wave at everyone, even the occasional silver milk tanker that I sometimes mistake for a vintage polished Airstream at a distance.

I wave at the few I see but most of time there's a wide median strip that precludes being able to see if the other driver sees me and/or waves back.

I wave, but it seems that the only time they see me waving or I see them waving back is when one of us is passing the other, and we see each other through the side windows.

I wave at all Airstreams and even at stuff that I think looks like an Airstream as they zip past

I find myself waving at Cox Communications Sprinter Vans, so if your Airstream is white, I may not wave at you

Typically flash my lights at all B Vans and Airstream trailers. I will wave if I can really see them and they can see me.

Yup, I wave at ALL Airstreams! I would say that at least half wave or blink their lights in return.

I always try to wave at approaching Airstreams (Though I admit I don't always recognize Interstates from otter Sprinter class B's) having been used to doing so with Brit sports cars I have owned and also on motorcycles.

With motorcycles, it is surprising to find what a friendly and helpful bunch they are whenever you meet upon the open road. Well mostly anyway, haven't had any bad experiences with "One per centers" yet!

I try to wave at most RV's and try to flash the lights at AS's. As mentioned, to hard to see across interstates if the other driver waves back.

I encountered a WBCCI Caravan on 97 a couple of weeks ago on my way home from Crater Lake. They were about 24 of them fairly spread out. I flashed my lights at every one of them and three or four flashed back. I was a bit surprised that so few reciprocated given that I have the big red number on my trailer. Maybe they were surprised to see another AS in the Oregon hinterlands.
