On my NCV3 (2013) Interstate the doors don't lock until you reach a driving speed of about 10 mph. Here are details from my 2012 manual - I see that it also mentions automatic locking with engine switched on. If you have issues with this a Sprinter dealer can also help change it.

Yes T1N.
My local Dodge dealer, Freightliner, Mercedes etc. had no idea. I knew from Docktor A that it could be done via scanner but they couldn't figure that out either. My Dodge place said they even had another one back there that they could see the code but couldn't change it for another customer.
I call my Dodge place and told them how hoping to help the other guy.
